Web Application Assessments

Web Application assessments use both automated and manual assessment tools to investigate a web application for vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and other issues that could pose security risks to the organasation’s assets.

The goal of these assessments is to provide feedback about the security of a website, to educate developers and administrators about the consequences of web application weaknesses, and to raise awareness about web application security. As with most technology, web applications are evolving targets and require persistent testing and assessment.

The Web Application Assessment follows a similar methodology as the Network Penetration Test, with testers performing reconnaissance against your systems, discovering vulnerabilities through manual testing, and finally attacking the vulnerabilities to understand the extent and scope of risk. All of this is done with your permission.
